General:

  • If a card such as "Challenge Accepted" asks to meet a condition to roll a die on your next turn, if you meet the condition while it is still in play, you will roll the die next turn even if your opponent destroys it. (Acceptable Challenge - Upgrade - If you deal 1 or more damage to an enemy boss during your turn, roll an additional die at the beginning of your next turn.)

  • If you have more than 5 cards in your hand at the end of your turn, you do not discard them. You simply won’t draw at the end of your turns until you get your hand size down to less than 5.

  • An “allied unit” is your boss or one of your minions or, in a team game (such as Arena mode), your boss and minions, and your teammates bosses and minions.

  • For Free-For-All map setups or recommendations for how to play arena mode without the deluxe board, check out our video here!

Alana:

  • Alana’s token description is meant to read: “Forest tokens: Enemy Minions cannot enter or leave Forest token spaces. Enemy Bosses can destroy them by entering a Forest token space and paying [1 crystal].”

Captain Boat:

  • If an allied minion moves into a space with an enemy minion and a treasure, the minions will attack each other first. Then if there are any minions remaining in the space, you can open the treasure.

Nightmare

  • If you have Mirror in play, you roll an extra die if an opponent rolls an extra die, even if that opponent is rolling fewer than 4 dice (e.g. due to an effect like Madness.)

  • You cannot make an opponent’s token (e.g. due to an effect like Echoed Voice or Nightmare’s ultimate ability). You can still take any other actions involved in an effect/ultimate that would create tokens, but no tokens will be created.

Ryu:

  • If a Samurai with a Bushido token on it is in a space with an enemy boss at the end of your turn, it will deal a damage, the bushido will be removed, and then it will deal another damage and die. It will not stay in the space during your opponent's turn.

Arena Mode:

  • The Sky Whale pet is meant to have 4 health

  • Snare Spiders are meant to say: “Your opponents cannot move units on their next turn.”
